Stephen Kutch, guidance counselor with Farmingdale Schools and 32 -year resident of Amityville
Stephen M. Kutch, a 32-year resident of Amityville, died June 9, 2002 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. He was born in Brooklyn December 8, 1942.
Mr. Kutch was a 37-year employee of the Farmingdale Public Schools and a guidance counselor at W.E. Howitt Middle School at the time of his death. He was an usher and long-time member of St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Kutch was predeceased by his wife, Lois A. in November, 1992 to whom he was married for 26 years. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Janet L. and Frank Miglino of Sayville, daughter and son-in-law Jacqueline A. and Bryan Franke of Center Moriches and daughter Jaime M. Kutch of Amityville. Also surviving Mr. Kutch are his sister Patricia Connell of Margaretville, his brother Richard Kutch of Virginia and his granddaughters Julia A. and Jordan Miglino.
Deacon Ferri said a prayer service Thursday, June 13, 2002 at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church Friday, June 14, 2002 followed by private cremation at L.I. Cremation Co. West Babylon. Arrangements were under the direction of the Powell Funeral Home, 67 Broadway, Amityville.
