On June 9 the Long Island Motor Touring Club sponsored an antique car show in the parking lot next to the Long Island Railroad station in Amityville. In the picture, Ernie Drutjons of Amity Harbor is shown polishing a headlamp (which really didn’t need polishing) on his 1928 Cadillac, hoping for visitors to view and share his enjoyment of the vintage vehicle.
