OLPH's Life Teen Third Annual Maureen DePalma Walk Against Breast Cancer raised over $14,000 for Breast Cancer Help and for the families of victims of World Trade Center disaster. Involved in the event were Monsignor Daniel Hamilton; Lindenhurst Village Mayor Linda Distler; Todd Lemieux, Life Teen Coordinator; Marian McGrory; Dr. Paul Fisher, Stony Brook University Hospital; Dr. John Kovach, Stony Brook University Hospital; John Pace, Esq.; Lorraine Pace, Co-President and Co-Founder of Breast Cancer Help, Inc.; Father Rich Kammerer; and Susie Picone. On Sunday, September 23rd, over 500 walkers raised over $14,000 with half the proceeds going to families of victims of the World Trade Center and half the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Help to support its programs in the fight against breast cancer.
