A service honoring First Precinct Inspector Rhoads and all the officers of the First Precinct will be held at the Bethesda Church, 76 Parkway Ave., Amityville, Saturday, October 20, at 11 a.m. The event is in keeping with the effort to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community.
