L.I. Vet center offers free counseling
2001-09-26 / People/Social
The Long Island Vet Center, an agency of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, provides free counseling and therapy to our Nation’s war veterans, in order to heal the unseen, emotional wounds of past combat experiences.
Now, many of our Country’s veterans are struggling, not only to cope with the events of September 11, 2001 but with reactivated memories of their own combat experiences.
If you are a veteran with such "Double Vision," with war memories of the past intermingled with the scenes of carnage today, then call the Vet Center at 631-661-3930.
