Judge Saxton celebrates his 90th birthday with a bash

 Village of Amityville Police Justice Walter A. Saxton, "homme de ville extraordinaire," celebrated his 90th birthday at a lunch held in his honor on May 3, at the Bay Village Inn. In attendance were Donald Boyd, James Caples, Peter Casserly, Arthur Cromarty, Charles deQuilfeldt, Donald Dobby, James Doherty, William Gray, Ken Greguski, Lou Howard, Major Peter Imbert, Al James, Ed Johnson, Steve Kretz, William Lauder, Henry Marcley, James Montgomery, Fred Nienburg, Bruce Pescitelli, Wesley Powell, Seth Purdy, William Shave and Joe Slack. Unable to attend due to prior commitment or illness were Bruce Kennedy, Chief Woody Cromarty, William Smith, Albert D'Andrea, Pat Cammaroto, Bert Sammis, Peter Pappas, Charles Woodman, William Kretz, Arthur Seaman, August Klesick, Oliver Darling, Kevin Eastwood, Roy Van Nostrand and Mickey McDonough.
