The Amityville Villains, a Long Island Junior U-16 travel soccer team, completed their spring 2001 season undefeated and clinched the league championship in their division. Proudly coached by Brian Smith, Konrad Reinis and Rich Cronin, the Villains won all 10 regular season games and advanced to the semi-final round of the Waldbaum’s Cup. They held their own in this particularly challenging game up to the last 90 seconds when the opposing team scored to win. Parents, coaches and team members are very proud of the continual efforts and skills displayed that brought them to a very gratifying season.

The team members are Gavin Budde, Matt Cronin, Dave Degen, Dan DeMarco, Renzo Garcia, Matt Gonser, Matt Licari, Dan Lowe, Chris McCarthy, Tom O’Neill, Joe Reinis, Paul Schmidt, Kevin Smith, Charlie Taylor and Dan Wade.
