Natoli named to Nassau-Suffolk School Boards Association
Copiague School District Board of Education Trustee Rosemary Natoli has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Nassau Suffolk School Boards Association. Mrs. Natoli who has been serving as a Copiague School Board Trustee for the past nine years will also serve in her new position for the next three years.
Mrs. Natoli is also active in several other community associations including the Committee for Prejudice Reduction. She has served with representatives of the District Attorney’s office, the Anti-Bias Crimes Unit, various religious organizations and survivors of the Holocaust to organize the Prejudice Reduction Conference for schools and educators.
The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) has also recognized Mrs. Natoli for her efforts on behalf of children. She was the third recipient in New York State to receive the PTA Mastery Award and has also received the PTA National Distinguished Service Award.
