Mr. Bryant married Gwendolyn Seaman on August 26, 1938. She preceded him in death in 1990. They had one daughter, Barbara. He resided on Long Island from early childhood until April of 1999 when he moved to Fresno, California with his daughter and son-in-law. He spent the last year and a half of his life at "his home," the Hacienda in Fresno.

Surviving Mr. Bryant are his daughter Barbara and her husband Cortez Robinson; three grandchildren, David Cooley and his wife Brenda, Gail Cooley and Linda and her husband Terry Banks, all of Fresno; three great-grandsons, Brandon and David Cooley of Hempstead and Terence Banks of Fresno; one sister, Norma B. Wright of Massapequa; his brother-in-law Vernon Walter of Massapequa; two sisters-in-law, Grace Jackson of Huntington and Eva Steele of Hightstown, New Jersey; one uncle, William Bryant of Hempstead and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
