New County plan puts homeless kids in Head Start
Children living in cramped rooms at local motels, often isolated from the rest of the community, and without the opportunity to learn and grow up in a healthy environment, deserve a chance to a have a better quality of life says Suffolk County Presiding Officer Paul J. Tonna. The Deer Park lawmaker unveiled a plan recently to help accomplish that.
