New kid on the block seems to have clout There was a lot of handshaking, back slapping and all around homage being paid to Independence Party leader Frank MacKay at an Indepenence Party fundraiser held at the Huntington Town House last week. Republicans and Democrats alike made their reverent appearances. Looked to us like the Independence Party has come up in the wo rld.
