Memorial Garden dedication for Frank Powell Sunday

The public is cordially invited to attend the dedication of the Frank Beebe Powell Memorial Garden Sunday, October 15, 1 p.m. on the grounds of the Lauder Museum. A reception in the Museum with refreshments will be followed by a slide show and walking tour of the lower Broadway historic district chaired by Past President Richard Handler.

Frank Beebe Powell, born, raised and employed in Amityville, was a charter member, endowment chairman and benefactor of the Amityville Historical Society. He is remembered as a wonderful gentleman always vitally interested in securing the future of the society and museum and his community.
