POLICE BLOTTER

The Amityville and Suffolk County police departments and other local fire and law enforcement agencies reported the following incidents.

ROBBERY

North Amityville: On Aug. 7, at about 10:30 p.m., two men wearing masks broke into a Somerset Road home and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. Copiague: A woman in a pink tank top stole an I-Phone Aug. 6 from store on Sunrise Highway. Police were called at 2:40 p.m.

BURGLARY

Amityville: Someone broke into a Broadway Avenue apartment Aug. 2, sometime before 6:30 p.m., and stole $2,100 in cash. Copiague: The cash register from Sun Wah Restaurant on Oak Street was taken sometime between 11 p.m., August 5 and 7 a.m., Aug. 6.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

North Amityville: Someone made graffiti at the rear of Dominican Village on Albany Avenue August 5. The graffiti was discovered at 9 a.m. •The back window of an Albany Avenue store was smashed Aug. 5 at about 8:30 p.m. by someone riding a bicycle. ARRESTS

DWI: The following persons have been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or impaired: Tabish Iqbal, 344 Deauville Blvd., Copiague; Wayne Schilling, 108 Riviera Pkwy., Lindenhurst; Robert Nee, 1339 11th Street, West Babylon; Matthew Kiley, 61 Mildred Pl., North Babylon; Adriane Hall, 129 Scott Ave., Deer Park; Marcelo Sanchez, 61 Dahlia La., Deer Park; Michael Pascarella, 820 South 5th St., Lindenhurst; Jaroslaw Truszkowski, 930 Catskill Ave., Lindenhurst; Steven Favata, 34, of Clarence St., Copiague (also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, 4th degree); Antoine DeMarco, 20, of Harrison Ave., Amityville; Billg Guerra, 36, of East Park Ave., Long Beach; Edilcar Leiva, 32, of Tryconnell St., Amityville; Jeffrey Mehrtens, 31, of Paumanake Ave., Babylon (drugs); Robert Ruggiero, 39, of Orchard St., Massapequa;

Burglary: Daquan Broadnax, 97 West Oak Str., Amityville; Keith Doherty, 1036 North Clinton Ave., Lindenhurst (11 Counts);

Robbery: Duquan Faulk, 314 Fulton St., North Babylon; David Pilgrim, 138 North 19th St., Wyandanch;

Grand Larceny: Francesca Schwamborn, 124 Sherbrooke Rd., North Lindenhurst; Carolin (sic) Carrion, 18 Brevoort Pl., Brentwood;

The charges against those arrested are allegations and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.
