Michael "Don" Conway,

Copiague contractor

Michael Conway, 70, died August 11, 2005 in a boating accident off Fire Island.

A contractor by trade, he emigrated from County Mayo, Ireland and was nicknamed Don, short for his middle name, O’Donnell. According to his family he built hundreds of homes on Long Island over the last 40 years.

He was married to Helen "Bette" for 43 years and they had two sons and a daughter. Mr. Conway was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church R.C. in Copiague.

Mr. Conway reposed at the D’Andrea Brothers Funeral Home. A religious mass held at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church followed by a private cremation.
