Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Delores Ambrose wed
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Dolores Ambrose were married on June 22, 2001. The service was held at Bellmore Community Church, Pastor Jason Spray and Rev. Jerry Bonfiglio, from the Pachougue Church of the Nazarene, officiated. Mr. Ambrose, a recent resident of Amityville, was raised in North Bellmore. He graduated from W.C. Mepham H.S. in 1975, received his B.A. in Computer Science from SUNY Oswego in 1980, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Hofstra University in 1988. He is the System and Network Manager for The Conference Board, an independent business research firm in Manhattan. Mrs. Ambrose, born and raised on Long Island,the 4th of 5 children born to Harry and Evelyn Brush. She works as the Graduate Admissions Secretary for the Computer Science Department at SUNY Stony Brook. She attended Nazarene Churches on the Island since the age of six until meeting Joe and changing over to the Bellmore Community C&MA Church. She is the mother of a 26-year-old daughter, Rosanne,and grandmother to 7-year-old Anthony, and 2-year-old Nicole. The couple will make their home in Amityville.
